“Pieces of Me”, an isosceles right triangle artwork, uses the playful imagery of puzzle pieces to speak to the complexity of human connection. Each shape, unique in color and orientation, fits together to form a greater whole. The triangular form reinforces stability and balance, while the tessellation hints at infinite possibilities. This piece reflects how diverse elements—cultures, ideas, individuals—interlock to create a vibrant and cohesive society.

Built from an interlocking pattern of stylized jigsaw puzzle pieces arranged within smaller  triangles that tile together to fill the larger triangle. Each puzzle piece is painted in a bold, solid color—yellow, green, orange, red, and deep blue—creating a vibrant, playful mosaic effect.

The puzzle pieces alternate in orientation, some pointing upward, others downward, producing a dynamic zig-zag rhythm across the canvas. The strong contrast between the saturated colors gives the painting an energetic, eye-catching quality.

It combines geometric precision with a whimsical, game-like theme, merging the formal structure of tessellation with the familiar, approachable imagery of puzzle pieces. It feels both mathematical and playful, making it appealing to viewers who enjoy symmetry, order, and bright, bold color.
